Reimagined Editing Experience

We’ve invested in a completely new user-experience, and integrated a host of new AI capabilities to streamline and automate much of the editing process.

New timeline editor

We’ve designed a completely new user interface to support the editing experience. It’s built to mirror the timeline editors many users are familiar with (from tools like Final Cut or iMovie). It’s entirely browser-based, and it brings all the critical components of editing into a single screen - clip selection, translations, transcription edits, aspect ratios, style templates and more.

AI clip recommendations

Identifying the best, most relevant clips from across a whole library of recorded video is a central part of the editing process - but it’s traditionally time consuming and requires lots of manual tagging and categorization.

Now, using AI, Vouch will be able to proactively recommend specific clips from your library based on the nature of the video you’re producing.

If, for example, you’re producing a video about your company’s flexible work policy, Vouch will help you identify all the relevant clips of your teammates mentioning work flexibility and allow you to add them to your video with just a click.

Editing by transcription

Splitting clips via an audio timeline is tedious and easy to mess up. Using Vouch’s Edit by Transcription feature, users can review the text-based transcription of any video and make edits by simply highlighting the sections they wish to feature.

Vouch’s AI editing tools will automatically adjust the edits to ensure ‘ums’ and ‘ahs’ are removed, and no important words are cut-off or cut-out.

Pre-configured editing templates

Many of the videos our customers create match a specific scene flow or style. For example, many customers create hundreds of role-specific videos to embed within job listing pages.

We’ve learned from 1000’s of videos produced within the Vouch platform and have pre-configured the most common formats into Editing Templates which can be easily applied to any video. Using these templates, users can simply drag and drop their desired clips into the template and hit save - no more manual top and tail creation or lower third builds.
